Welcome to Killinit Kayaks where it’s always sunny and warm! We offer Kayak and Standup Paddle board rentals on any of the Portage Lakes. All rental prices include paddle and life vest. Just reserve today on the website, stop by the shop to pay and sign waivers and then you follow us to any of the Portage Lakes State Parks for drop off and return. We are mobile so if you live on any one of the lakes WE DELIVER!

How does this work?
A
Fill out our form, read, sign our release waiver and reserve a rental. Meet us at our location. Pay for your rental. Follow us to one of the Portage Lakes state parks or launches of our choice. Enjoy you rental. Meet us back at drop off area at specified time. Repeat.

Do you lead group trips or tours?
A
No. We do not lead tours. Currently there are no tour guide companies on the Portage Lakes, however it is something we are working on!

Do you have a Military discount?
A
Yes we do! We offer a 10% to all Military and First Responders!
Q
Do we have to transport our own kayaks?
A
No unless you or a friend are bringing your own. We transport the rentals.
Q
Can we do same day reservations or walk-ins?
A
Not at this time. We deliver the equipment so we need to know our schedule before we open. Reservations require a 24 (weekdays tues-thurs) to 72 (weekends fri-sun) hour notice please. Thank you. This is for June-September only.

Do you have an incentive program?
A
Yes! We have punch cards! Rent 10 times and receive a free 1 hour rental!

When does your season start and end?
A
Typically we shoot to open May 1st weather permitting of course. But if we can open earlier we will post it on our Facebook page. Our season ends Between October and November 1st, weather permitting.
Q
Do you give refunds?
A
No! You don’t pay until you get here and reservations are free. We will advise you to stay or go depending on the weather, if you choose to go out in poor weather that is at your risk and cost.
